We find ourselves in unprecedented and difficult times. The COVID-19 pandemic is putting great demands on us all emotionally, physically and financially. We are closely monitoring and following the current recommendations from our government and health officials as to how our business and services will be impacted.
It has been deemed by the Province of Ontario that short term accommodation providers are not permitted to operate until further notice. We had already voluntarily closed prior to this decision and therefore will remain closed until advised otherwise by the province. While we hope we can open our doors sometime in June, we cannot be sure that it will be safe by then or in fact when it will be safe to reopen. We will remain in touch with our guests who have bookings for the coming months and update you as the situation evolves.
Moving forward we will need to modify how we serve our guests. The Treehouse Bed & Breakfast offers two private and self-contained units which are isolated spaces. We will not only continue to provide our already high standards of cleanliness but will also provide additional rigorous sanitizing of each unit. We will no longer be serving breakfast and will be offering only self-serve coffee and tea service within each unit to maintain the segregation of spaces. There may be further modifications as we move forward, as more recommendations are presented by the government and health officials. We will keep our guests up to date as things develop.
Among the unknown we are all facing there is one thing we can count on, this too shall pass. Things will get better and we will be glad to welcome you to The Treehouse Bed & Breakfast once again when you are ready for a breath of fresh air.
